From Selection to Success: Navigating Florida’s Instructional Materials State Adoption Process and Portal

Florida leads with its thorough Instructional Materials Adoption process. In this presentation, participants will gain a high-level understanding of the different requirements for stakeholders to participate in the Instructional Materials Adoption Cycle. This presentation will highlight the Florida Statutes and State Board of Education Rules that govern this process. It will also cover important functionalities of the Florida Instructional Materials (FLIM) portal, insight into district opportunities, and an overview of the adoption and purchase of state-adopted materials.
