This presentation will provide an overview of the services and provisions available to students with disabilities who are enrolled in home education, charter schools, or not-for-profit private schools, as well as the obligations of local educational agencies under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The discussion will highlight emerging concerns identified through state complaint data and share best practices to strengthen collaboration among districts, schools, and families.
