Public School Facilities Usage Study

Facilities remain a major barrier to charter school growth. FCI’s new statewide study analyzes district facility utilization to assess how well taxpayer-funded space is being used—and whether underutilized facilities could support charter expansion. The findings aim to inform more strategic, cost-effective facility planning across Florida’s public education system.
