Resiliency Florida: Empowering Florida’s Students

Florida is leading a first-in-the-nation approach, Resiliency Florida, that empowers students to persevere and overcome life’s inevitable challenges. This presentation will focus on Resiliency Florida updates, including the Resiliency Coach training for moms, dads, volunteers and mentors who are trained to support children as they build resiliency to face day-to-day challenges. Participants will also learn about the recently introduced teacher resources which cover all Resiliency Characteristics and grade bands. Participants will gain insight into how Resiliency Florida and the Resiliency Coach training offer valuable opportunities to volunteer, mentor and support Florida’s families.
