Purple Star Schools of Distinction: Supporting Military-Connected Students and Families

Florida is the most military-friendly state, and the Purple Star Schools of Distinction recognition is proof positive of this commitment. Currently, there are 373 Purple Star Schools of Distinction and five Purple Star School Districts across the state, all recognized for their commitment to supporting military-connected students and their families. Participants will learn about the guidelines to apply for this recognition, as well as best practices learned from the schools and districts that have received this honor. Participants will also learn about legislative updates that support military-connected students and families.
